Warsaw, Poland - Szymon Niemiec – president of a board of "Friends of Szymon" foundation was called by the Warsaw police to supply evidence regardinging Fr.Rafal Trytek – a former Roman Catholic priest. Father Trytek leads a radical Polish Roman Catholic sect which was excommunicated from the mother church. Mr. Niemiec exercising his rights as a Polish citizen requested the Polish prosecutor’s office who has legal authorities to start formal court proceedings to investigate if Fr.Rafal Trytek committed any violations to Polish human rights laws on 23 June 2008 at a gay pride festival where the priest called for the burring and stoning of gays. Demonstrate against the gay pride in Cracow, Poland. Fr.Rafal Trytek also gave holy communion to neo-Nazi’s assembled to demonstrate against the parade. The Polish procurator requested that an investigation by the Warsaw Police Office should go forward. On the 11th July 2008 Mr. Niemiec was requested to present to Officer Arkadiusz Bien any and all evidence of the event. Mr. Niemiec gave the police the information which he had including a video of the priest in a Polish TV interview the day of incident. After the police investigation the prosecutor will determine if the case breaks any laws and schedule a court hearing.
